All personal data supplied by Petreans is held in the Peterhouse Development Office and Peterhouse Society Office/Friend of Peterhouse Office on a secure and confidential basis. The information held will be treated with sensitivity, for the sole use of the College and its members. The data is made available only to Fellows and staff of the College, and on occasion to recognised societies of Petreans, to sports and other clubs associated with the College, to volunteers or contracted agents for particular member- and development-related projects, and to University of Cambridge academic and administrative departments. The onward transmission of data to third parties, or its use for commercial activities, is expressly forbidden.
The data you choose to supply is used for a range of member activities, including the sending of College and Peterhouse Society publications and the notification of College and Peterhouse Society events, and for the College’s development and fundraising activities.
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act, 1998, you have the right to object to the use of your data for any of the above purposes. You may also request that your data be no longer held by the Peterhouse Development Office and Peterhouse Society Office.
